Like hording good cheese turned bad

Aghast to let go
Of the hurtfully dwelled
The crater that impacted long ago
Became her permascape instead of expelled

Leave it as a reminder and construct cities
Build a monument and move on
A lesson realized through time
Lets despondence be withdrawn

Travel through conscious thought
Reenacting not with regret
